HP, Intel, and their partners joined forces with Tech & Learning to bring you the new 2009 Digital Learning Environment event in the Chicago area. This unique interactive forum was a one-day event held on Thursday, March 19 in Lincolnshire, IL.

This Digital Learning Environment event was an immersion experience that provided K-12 decision-makers with state-of-the-art technology solutions delivered in hands-on lab environments. Divided by curriculum area, the lab environments were part of this unique forum where attendees were invited to be students for the day and experience authentic and compelling standards-based learning moments! They learned how technology-rich learning environments enrich students’ learning experiences and help them achieve.

Westmont, IL

Steve Baule is superintendent of schools for Community Unit School District 201 in Westmont, IL. He has been at CUSD 201 since 2005. Prior to coming to Westmont, Baule was a teacher, librarian and administrator. He holds a BA in history from Loras College and a master’s degree in library science from the University of Iowa. He holds doctoral degrees from Northern Illinois University (instructional technology) and Loyola University of Chicago (educational leadership & supervision). Baule also writes and consults on a variety of topics including educational facilities and technology planning.
