Knowledge Network Solutions, Inc. (KNS) serves K-12 schools, districts, and higher education institutions through the integration of technology into all curricular areas to improve teaching and learning. Services include instructional technology planning, grant writing, and professional development. KNS consultants are all current or former educators; we assess the institution’s instructional technology needs, particularly in the area of professional development. KNS offers a variety of courses emphasizing best practice use of laptops/notebooks, tablet PCs, interactive whiteboards, and other hardware devices to enhance teaching and learning in all levels of education. Our premiere course, Technology Integration for Teaching and Learning in Education (TITLE), emphasizes the creation of project-based learning units as teachers learn to incorporate critical thinking, inquiry learning and other methodologies using the tools of Microsoft Office.
